The temple is also the place of concerts and conferences. Its basement includes a meeting room used for various activities. Built by Louis-Jean Raoulx, the temple was inaugurated by Rev. Paul Fargues on March 29, 1900. The decoration is sober. An open Bible above the front door on the street testifies to the Protestants' attachment to the Bible with this passage from the Gospel of Matthew: "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are burdened; I will relieve you.
