General description

Place of exhibitions, concerts and cultural events in Le Mans. Backing onto the Roman ramparts, which were altered during the medieval period, is the Collégiale Saint-Pierre-la-Cour, once the chapel of the palace of the Comtes du Maine. The building dates from the 11th and 13th Centuries. The rather austere outer walls hide a superb hall with tall arches and slender pillars.
